Hosted by the Museum of the Southwest at the historic Turner Mansion, this series of holiday events has something for everyone! The 2025 season includes a President’s Club Preview Party (Dec. 5), Nutcracker Brunch with the Midland Festival Ballet (Dec. 6), a free public Open House (Dec. 7), and the ReinBeer XIV party for adults (Dec. 10). A free family open house will be held on Sunday, December 7, from 2–5 p.m. with Santa, cookies, and crafts.

This festive celebration, hosted in partnership with the Midland Downtown Park Conservancy at Centennial Park, features the Tree Lighting Ceremony to mark the official start of the holiday season. Enjoy this beautiful tree and the decorations all through Christmas!
Grassland EstatesThis neighborhood is known for a VERY specific house that goes all out with Christmas cheer. Not just a one-stop item on our list, the entire neighborhood has an array of lights, decorations, Christmas trees, and neighbors with coordinating decorations.
Trinity EstatesThis is another neighborhood you don’t want to miss, located near Wadley. Trinity Estates is full of houses with Christmas lights and decorations.
Green TreeWith everything from classic and understated decorations to over-the-top blow-up decorations, this Midland neighborhood is a must-see on your Christmas light tour. Easy to navigate without missing anything, the neighborhood is a loop, so you can just ease through and enjoy the magic of Christmas.
Polo EstatesThe Estates has plenty of houses with Christmas decorations to enjoy, but one house would make even Clark Griswold proud of their light display!
Metz PlaceMetz Place is the winter wonderland of Midland. A street lined with lights and candy canes on the sidewalks; the houses all have gorgeous decorations, Christmas lights, and plenty of inflatable Santas for the kids to enjoy.
Midland CollegeWhile you’re in the area to see Metz Place, cross the street to Midland College. The campus is beautifully decorated for the holidays, and the grazing reindeer have been moved to a different location on campus this year so that you can search for their new spot.
