Whether the family prefers posting up in the Wildlife Viewing Area or taking to the trials, Sibley Nature Center is the place for the whole family to take in the sights and sounds of the West Texan landscape. With 49 acres of land to cover, Sibley Nature Center is your opportunity to immerse the family in the region’s flora, fauna, and natural history.For a more urban sprawl, make sure you plan to bring the family down to Centennial Park in downtown Midland. This urban recreational gathering place in the heart of the city plays host to movie nights, yoga classes, a splash pad, and calm evening walks. To burn off some energy, check out Chris Davidson Opportunity Park, next to Bush Tennis Center. The playground is extraordinary and accessible to all.
When in Midland, cheer on the Midland Rockhounds baseball team. Catch a game at Momentum Bank Ballpark and soak up the full baseball game experience with classic stadium concessions and fanfare. The Rockhounds season begins in April and goes through September. If your family prefers to partake in friendly competition first-hand, book a tee time at Green Acres Mini Golf. This classic Midland landmark hosts much more than its blast-from-the-past mini golf course.
